Building Process
1. Secure Lender Financing Approval and Budget
2. Decide on Location and General Size of Home
3. Enter into the Design Contract
4. Enter into the Building Contract
5. Permits, Utilities and Scheduling
6. Break Ground
7. Construction (4-9 Months Depending on complexity of home)
8. Closing  
9. Move In  
   
Expected Meetings:  
  • Pre-construction

  • Stake out lot, ground breaking

  • Before, and after walls

  • During, and after framing

  • Before, during, and after mechanicals

  • Before, and after dry wall

  • Before, during and after wood finishes

  • Before, during, and after painting

  • After and during mechanical finishes

  • Before and during floor coverings

  • Pre-close punch out.

 

Semi-custom homes require a minimum of 10-22 meetings. 
For custom homes we meet weekly or even daily at times.
